Skin Rejuvenation
LightPod Laser offer a uniquely non-invasive skin rejuvenation with tightening treatment to stimulate healthy collagen and restore your skin’s youthful appearance. This process will help firm healthy skin, get rid of any red or brown spots as well as help fill in wrinkles without any patient downtime. Only a beam of laser light touches the skin for the most pleasant treatment available. Typically, several treatments spaced out over a 6-month period deliver remarkable results.
The best candidates for skin rejuvenation are patients with skin types I-IV aged 30-55 showing the initial signs of aging such as fine lines, minor wrinkles, sun damage, and vessels as well as signs of reduced skin laxity. Other patients may respond to such treatments, but as a segment, the patients aforementioned typically see the best results. Patients should begin to see results immediately after the treatment and the results will continue to become better over time. Now, LightPod lasers can successfully be used for the treatment of acne and acne scars. The laser’s energy effectively destroys the p. acne bacteria, while restoring collagen to damaged skin. The result is a significant clearance of active acne and visible acne scars.
Patients need to be aware that improvement of acne typically takes up to 4 treatments in order to see a good result. The laser light heats the affected area to effectively kill the p. acne bacteria while also helping to shrink the sebaceous glands, which will cause them to produce less oil, limit future outbreaks and reduce pore size. There is no cure for acne, only maintenance, so the patient should be aware that future treatments may be needed.
